About
From Crumbs to Care: Healing • Advocacy • Action
The Advocating While Black Summit is a two-day experience for the parents, caregivers, educators, administrators, advocates, service providers, and community leaders who understand that Black children deserve systems that see them clearly, support them fully, and respond to them with dignity.
Especially Black neurodivergent children.
Centered on Healing, Advocacy, and Action, this summit brings together the people who are often having the same urgent conversations from different sides of the table. Parents are fighting to be heard. Educators are trying to serve children well inside systems that do not always make that easy. Administrators are being called to lead with more clarity, accountability, and cultural understanding. Advocates are helping families turn confusion into strategy.
This summit is where those conversations meet.
Not for performance.
Not for another round of “we need to do better” with no actual better attached.
This is a space for honest dialogue, practical tools, shared responsibility, and collective action.
Through immersive sessions, skill-building, and community-centered conversations, attendees will explore what it truly takes to protect Black children, support families, equip educators, and build school experiences where advocacy does not have to feel like a full-time survival job.
Whether you are a parent navigating IEP meetings, an educator committed to serving students more fully, an administrator shaping school culture, or a community partner invested in equity and care, this summit is designed to give you language, context, strategy, and connection.
Because the work of advocacy cannot live on parents alone.
It takes families who know their rights.
Educators who know their impact.
Administrators who know their responsibility.
Communities that refuse to let Black children be misunderstood, under-supported, or pushed aside.
The Advocating While Black Summit is where we gather to listen deeper, build smarter, and move differently.
